On the occasion of the 110th anniversary of the creation of the Primavera studio, the very first design studio integrated into a department store, Printemps is celebrating its extraordinary ceramic animals.

The fruitful collaboration between the regional factories and Primavera's designers is especially well illustrated in the creation of ceramic animals which appeared in the Printemps catalogues in the 1910s. The artistic value of these mischievous creatures lies in the innovative style of their shape and their colours and in their production in llimited series.
